EXTRA IDEAS
I set out to make an all-inclusive list of letters, but you
have your own unique life experiences to pull from.
Each person will ultimately have their own set of letters
with many differences. Below, I provide more ideas for
the types of letters you may write.
Parent Letter to Future Grandchild
Prompts: How cool would it have been to get a letter
from your grandparent? My own grandma was
diagnosed with Alzheimer's when I was 14 and how I

cooking skills so I could have learned today. What can
you teach your grandchild? What would you want to
say?
Buzzwords: Teach a skill, share more about the family,
talk about your own parents and explain the family tree,
speak a foreign language, tell about your childhood and
give them some life advice.
