My dear child:
I hope that someday you will grow up to be a fine young lady. That I
can be proud of. That's what I want most of all. I have always pictured
a very true and respectful young lady and I hope I won't be
disappointed. I want you to be ambitious. And neat. So my dear Carol
if that's not asking too much, do you think you could live up to these
few things I ask of you.
I hope someday you will meet a fine young man who will be very much in
love with you and you'll love him and that will always trust you and
believe in you and vice versa, that's the main thing. God bless you.
