The Live-On Project

What do you Want to do in Life Letter

Prompts: Choosing what career path to take is always
tough. Maybe you have a family business, or maybe
your family has a long line of doctors. Capture what
you would say to your child, so at least they can benefit
from your advice. What are your thoughts about
following money or following passion? Should your
child get a career that makes good money even if it

involves hard and long hours? Is it OK if your child does
not want to follow in your footsteps?
Buzzwords: Live with passion, pursue your passion and

money will follow, the family business, explain the work
you do, explain what other generations did.

The best thing, I dare say, is first to learn something well so you can
always make a living. Bob seems to be catching on at the newspaper
business and has had another raise. He is getting a good training by
working in a smaller city. As for the scientific fields, any of them
require a long schooling and intense application. If you are made for it
nothing could be better. In the long run you will have to come to your
         own conclusion.
The arts, which probably offer a man more satisfaction, are uncertain.
It is difficult to make a living.
