Three Important Milestones
1. Getting Started
After the Letters of Administration have been issued and the Personal Representative has received the required information, we’ll meet with you to:
- Review your responsibilities as Personal Representative
- Explain what happens next
- Discuss important deadlines
- Answer your initial questions
This meeting helps ensure everyone starts the Probate process with a clear understanding of what to expect.
2. Mid-Case Review
Once the creditor claims period has expired, we’ll meet again to discuss:
- The progress of your Probate case
- Remaining tasks
- Any outstanding issues
- The next steps toward completing the estate administration
This meeting allows us to review where the case stands and make sure everything continues moving forward efficiently.
3. Preparing to Close
Before the estate is ready to close, we’ll schedule a final milestone meeting to:
- Confirm all estate assets have been gathered
- Review the planned distributions
- Discuss any remaining requirements
- Answer any final questions before closing the Probate estate
