more likely to be free of distractions and you can focus
on what you actually want to say to your kids.
My proposed plan for you is as follows:
1) get up early;
2) drink a glass of lemon water;
3) do jumping jacks for 3 minutes;
4) read five pages of a personal development/
motivational book;
5) sit in silence for five minutes to simply think
about how grateful you are to have your
children;
6) visualize your kids opening up the letters twenty
years from now feeling so happy and loved; and
7) start writing a letter or making notes for your
letters.
Good Practice 4. Block Writer’s Block
When you are stumped as to what to write, it is most
likely because you are not clear on the message you
want to relay. Say it out loud first so you can focus on
your message. You block writer’s block by taking small
steps, concentrating on only getting your thoughts out
and blocking other distractions. We all know that
feeling of not knowing what to say or how to start.
Take small daily actions to move forward, and you will
block writer’s block before it blocks you.
