The Live-On Project

            more likely to be free of distractions and you can focus
            on what you actually want to say to your kids.

            My proposed plan for you is as follows:

               1)  get up early;
               2)  drink a glass of lemon water;
               3)  do jumping jacks for 3 minutes;
               4) read five pages of a personal development/
                   motivational book;
               5) sit in silence for five minutes to simply think

                   about how grateful you are to have your
                   children;
               6) visualize your kids opening up the letters twenty
                   years from now feeling so happy and loved; and
               7) start writing a letter or making notes for your
                   letters.

            Good Practice 4. Block Writer’s Block

            When you are stumped as to what to write, it is most
            likely because you are not clear on the message you
            want to relay. Say it out loud first so you can focus on
            your message. You block writer’s block by taking small

            steps, concentrating on only getting your thoughts out
            and blocking other distractions. We all know that
            feeling of not knowing what to say or how to start.
            Take small daily actions to move forward, and you will
            block writer’s block before it blocks you.

            As you write, do not edit at the same time. Just write
