them for ideas. It is up to you. They are there to jog
your thoughts and provide an easier start off point to
simplify your letter-writing. You may have additional or
better ideas. In the blank lines that follow you may
make notes, capture ideas, and list any extrinsic sources
to add to any particular letter.
A blank letter template that corresponds to each letter
can be easily downloaded via the website. Some letters
may require audio or video in your opinion. Choose the
ones that fit better with video and record yourself
sharing something with your children. If you wish to
use the template, simply print it out and start writing.
When I say “template,” I do not mean the letter is
written for you. That would be a pointless thing to do
and very impersonal. The actual word choice and tone
of the letters must come from you. Otherwise, they
truly will have no meaning. That being said, I wanted to
provide some instruction in building your letter.
